The right to vote on important chapter decisions and run for PSU-AAUP office

The National AAUP and the Oregon Conference of the AAUP protects the rights of all faculty on the state and national level.

Regalia Reimbursement
Reimbursement of rental cost for June Commencement rental. You must present invoice for rental to the PSU-AAUP office. The reimbursement request is due by October 15.

Child Care
Full members are eligible to receive up to $250 per year reimbursement for use of PSU Smith Memorial Center Child Care Center or the Helen Gordon Child Development Center. This includes any enrollment fees.

Free subscription to Academe
Academe, the bulletin of the AAUP, is a bi-monthly journal of issues of concern to the profession. Subscription includes the influential Annual Report on the Economic Status of the Profession.

Chronicle of Higher Education discount subscription
Special introductory subscription rate to The Chronicle of Higher Education, the weekly newspaper for faculty, is available to new AAUP members. Focusing on issues and developments in higher education, as well as announcing hundreds of job opportunities, initial subscriptions are available for $32 for the next twenty-four issues, which is a half-year subscription at 20% off the regular rate.

Issues in Science and Technology discount subscription
Special introductory subscription rate to Issues in Science and Technology, the only quarterly journal to focus exclusively on important policy questions in which science, engineering, or health play a key role. A complimentary copy of Issues is reserved for all new AAUP members. New members are eligible to subscribe at the speical introductory rate of $24 for one year (four issues in all, including the complimentary first issue).
