In fall, a NTTF experienced disparate treatment in their department based upon gender and sexual orientation. The member filed a complaint with OGDI based on gender, age, and sexual orientation. The complaint found no evidence of discrimination based on protected status, but there were findings that there was disparate treatment.
Soon after the administrators who were respondents in the complaint were interviewed, they issued the member with notice of non-renewal of their limited term contract.
The member filed a subsequent complaint at OGDI for retaliation for having filed the complaint. PSU-AAUP, in turn, filed a grievance this week at Article 28 Division B Step One alleging the non-renewal was discriminatory and retaliatory.
