The Burgerville Workers Union (BVWU) checked in with PSU-AAUP to report on their progress toward getting management to the negotiating table.
Two weeks ago, the BVWU engaged in its biggest actions to date as workers from four different shops stood up for themselves by walking off the job. The workers were joined by many others on the picket lines as they demanded the company recognize the union and negotiate with workers.
The strike is over, but the struggle continues. BVWU asks for our help to grow the boycott campaign.
Specifically, they request for you to:
- post on social media about why you are choosing to boycott Burgerville. Include a link to their Facebook page, BVWU website, and the boycott Burgerville website.
- sign a boycott pledge at this online form.
- Reach out and ask for boycott buttons, boycott pledge stations, window signs, or stickers that you can distribute in your work unit.
