Today Portland came out and made it clear that this is a city that will not stand for racist hate!  The Portland Stands United Against Hate Rally drew out 1200-1500 and along with the other counter-demonstrations vastly outnumbered the far-right rally.  The media coverage of course repeats nothing but reports of "violent clashes" and competing 'extremist' rallies.

But we know what happened today in Portland.  The far-right attempted to claim Portland as its newest stomping ground but they failed.  Our side outnumbered them 8 to 1 and sent a clear and principled message not only that we will not stand for racist hate but also expressed our vision of the type of world we would like to live in.
