PSU-AAUP joined the PSU student government, and other campus and community organizations in co-sponsoring Let's Talk about Diversity, a cycle of events Feb. 15-17 aimed at counteracting the hostile climate created by a provocative speaker brought to campus whose "claim to fame" is to question the intellectual abilities of women and the value of diversity. Together we countered hostile speech with uplifting and celebratory speech. Several members of the PSU-AAUP Executive Council were present at the Smith Ballroom this last Saturday representing our faculty and academic professionals!
