The economic portion of our settlement covers the current academic year, as well as academic years 2016/17, 2017/18, and 2018/19. The new contract will expire in November 2019.
Faculty and academic professionals will receive guaranteed COLA raises in January/February of each of the contract years.
Beginning in 2017, there will be annual salary pools set aside to address internal and external equity issues for faculty and to reward length of service for academic professionals.
Starting in academic year 2016/17, faculty and academic professionals will have access to individual professional development accounts that will be funded on an annual basis, and this money can rollover for up to four years.
