We are affiliated with the American Association of University Professors, the nation’s only organization that exclusively represents higher education faculty.

CircleIn: Faculty Senate Decides to Pause on CircleIn

Increased faculty feedback has led the PSU Faculty Senate to put the implementation of the CircleIn Pilot on hold until more information can be gathered from faculty and proposed users of CircleIn.

While the Faculty Senate is determining whether or not to continue to utilize this app at Portland State, it would be helpful for all faculty to share thoughts on CircleIn here. The decision to pause the implementation of CircleIn was in large part due to PSU-AAUP faculty members utilizing their voices in response to PSU’s announcement of implementing CircleIn without faculty feedback. We encourage all PSU-AAUP members to continue sharing their thoughts through the feedback process.
