We reported on December 18 that administration and PSU-AAUP had arrived at final methologies for the compression/inversion and/or equity adjustments provided in Article 30 Preamble.
Since that time HR has created the excel spreadsheets, and those are being reviewed by the AAUP numbers subgroup (David Hansen and Shafiqur Rahman). Once the models are confirmed, HR will start running the models and sequencing the adjustments. Because retroactive adjustments will have to go back in some cases to January 1, 2017, the actual paycheck adjustments need to be made on phases. Those phases will include:
- 2017 Compression, Inversion and/or Equity Adjustment [CBA Article 30, Section 4 (a)1-2] (where applicable), then
- 2018 3.5% CPI-U Cost of Living Adjustment [CBA Article 30, Section 3 (c))], then
- 2018 Compression, Inversion and/or Equity Adjustment [CBA Article 30, Section 4 (b)1-2)] (where applicable)
It is expected that HR/payroll will communicate where they are in the process as it advances. We all appreciate your patience as we worked through a process that was far more complicated and demanded than expected.
