Introducing Karen Popp

My name is Karen Popp and I am the Student Services Coordinator in the Research & Graduate Studies Department.  I have been an member of PSU-AAUP since I came into this department almost 11 years ago.  I have volunteered as our department’s Unit Rep for the last three years and have been an active member volunteer for our union  in many other capacities over the last several years. I have done so as I know our union is always there to advocate for me, especially with issues of inequality in the workplace.  Even when I have reached out to our leaders without a notable grievance, they have listened and I have had a voice.  I believe PSU AAUP is strongly committed to equality for all its members, supporting us so that we can better support our students.
