Man accused of threatening Oregon State University shooting made same claim last year

A former Oregon State University student accused Tuesday of posting threats on Twitter to shoot people on campus was sentenced last year to jail time and probation for making the same threat, Oregon court records show.

Christopher Strahan pleaded guilty last March to second-degree disorderly conduct in connection with posting shooting threats from his Twitter account a month earlier and was sentenced in Benton County to 20 days in jail and three years of probation, according to court records.
