We are writing to alert you to an important update regarding the newly bargained Teaching Professor ranks. Please be aware that you should be seeing notifications in your inbox from your unit’s administration about your eligibility to automatically retitle or ability to request retitling into the new Teaching Professor ranks. You will be notified of the following:
- All Non-tenure Track Faculty Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors will be notified that they are eligible to automatically retitle into equivalent Teaching Professor ranks.
- All Senior Instructor IIs will be notified of their eligibility for consideration for retitling. Furthermore, you will have 5 business days from the receipt of your notice of eligibility to provide a written request to your department chair to retitle into the Teaching Professor ranks.
