Last year Administration attempted to impose a ridership fee on members for the Portland Streetcar, despite the University’s long history of subsidizing it for faculty, staff, and students. After we filed a grievance, administration reversed their decision and reinstated free ridership for PSU-AAUP members, as well as all faculty, staff, and students.
Administration confirmed with us on May 24th that the University will continue to subsidize rides on the Streetcar for PSU faculty, staff, and students using their PSU ID during fiscal year 2018-19.
