The Special Election and Ratification Election will be done together. The ballot will open September 29 and close October 14, 2017.
The Special Election is to fill the vacant office of Secretary (term of office is October 11, 2017 to May 1, 2019) and the office of Vice President for Grievances (term of office January 1, 2018 to May 1, 2019).
The ratification election is for the MOA which contains substantive changes to the donated sick leave bank: the donated sick leave bank will change from an opt in program to an opt out program, with other substantive changes. Here is the MOA not yet but soon to be executed.
The ballot statements will go out approximately September 28, 2017.
