STAND WITH NURSES IN THE PROVIDENCE SYSTEM, MARCH 15!

This year, more than 4,000 Oregon Nurses Association nurses will bargain seven open contracts with Providence--Oregon's largest and most profitable health system. Nurses at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center are already working on expired contracts because Providence has refused to commit to safe nurse staffing standards, nurse and patient safety language, equitable health benefits, paid leave and fair compensation. In fact, Providence currently ranks near the bottom of metro-area hospitals on staffing, pay, health benefits, and paid leave despite growing its cash on hand to more than $3 billion during the first year of the pandemic.
