On October 5, 2018, our PSU American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Executive Council released a statement about the killing of Jason Washington and the movement to disarm PSU. As a follow-up to our commitment to campus solidarity, the EC encouraged AAUP members to participate in a teach-in on relevant topics and to attend campus listening sessions about campus security that were held October 30th-November 1st.
Now, the PSU AAUP Executive Council invites members to participate in a survey put out by Margolis Healy, the independent consultant firm hired by Portland State to conduct a comprehensive review of campus safety. Your survey response is confidential and may inform the firm's recommendations to the PSU Board of Trustees.
