Solidarity Statement to PSU Board & Administration

Portland State University is a place where all workers deserve respect, all students deserve a high quality, affordable education, and where the first budget priority should always be learning.
Together 4 PSU is students, faculty and staff coming together supporting five shared principles:

Academic Freedom
Before he resigned, Rahmat Shoureshi promised to limit executive compensation by freezing the salaries of all administrators making in excess of $120K a year while student tuition continues to rise. The board has already been exhorted to keep this commitment, we call upon the board and administration that this pledge be upheld.
