Workplace Sexual Harassment Laws & Prevention in the #MeToo Era

February 26, 2018 / Phil Lesch

From Oregon LERA

Please join Oregon LERA and our esteemed panelists for a program in Portland and Springfield on March 23 on the impact of shifting cultural understandings of sexual harassment on the workplace.

The #MeToo Campaign signals a new era of examining the complexities of sexual harassment and its continuing presence in the workplace. As a result, employers and unions are likely to see increased complaints of sexual harassment. Panelists will examine:
The recent flood of high profile allegations;

Sexual harassment laws in the workplace & scenarios of potential liability; and
How traditional trainings & policies to avoid harassment could be improved.
The panel will take place in Portland, and for the first time, LERA will livestream the presentation for interactive group viewing in Springfield! The Springfield meeting includes breakfast and participants will be able to ask questions through our video conferencing system.
