Bargaining Update

The bargaining team is continuing its work with the administration to hammer out the details of various agreements and formalize contract language for the settlement. Individually, none of these tasks are onerous, but there are many of them and thus a lot of work remains before the contact is ready to be sent to members for a vote on ratification. This is likely to occupy the bargaining team well into spring term.
In the meantime, members will continue to be asked to vote on various pieces, in the form of MOAs, that require ratification for immediate implementation. The COLA piece, of course, has been ratified, so 12-month employees will see this increase in their January 30th paychecks, while 9-month employees will see it in their February 28th paychecks.
