We strive to defend the rights of our bargaining unit through advocacy, collective bargaining, and grievance procedures, and are committed to protecting tenure, due process, and academic freedom for all PSU faculty. We are affiliated with the American Association of University Professors, the nation’s only organization that exclusively represents higher education faculty.

Know Your Rights: Retaliation

No worker should fear for their job based on retaliation. What is retaliation? Retaliation is a form of employment discrimination based on an employee’s protected activities. Your activity with PSU-AAUP is only one of those protected activities. Other protected activities include communicating with a supervisor or manager about employment discrimination, including harassment, requesting accommodations based on religious observances and/or disability, and more. PSU-AAUP defends and supports all members of the bargaining unit when it comes to their protected activities.
