PSU is a Union University

Just a friendly reminder that PSU-AAUP stands in solidarity with our union colleagues and students across campus. Leaders in all of the campus unions meet regularly to share the concerns and challenges that members in each of the unions are facing. We learn of their bargaining updates, their advocacy for their members, their conversations with administration, and we strategize on how best to work together to advance one another’s interests here at PSU. We believe we are stronger together when we are in good communication with one another and act in solidarity. We will be sharing out a poster to members this fall (when we have capacity and have a stronger presence on campus!) We hope you will put one of these posters on your door and in your window (if you have one!) to remind our campus community of the importance of solidarity. Even though things at PSU could be better, for sure, but as you look around the country at working conditions on other campuses, especially during COVID, we are sure you feel much better working on a #unionstrong campus. #psuaaup  #psufa  #seiu  #aspsu. Finally, keep an eye out for our colleagues in SEIU as they negotiate their contract. All workers deserve a fair contract.
