Elena Sokol

Elena is an academic professional who has worked at PSU since 2017 and is currently in the role of department manager for International and Global Studies. Combined with her previous work experience at two other universities, she has gained a broad knowledge of higher ed issues. Elena is originally from Russia, and is enjoying life in Portland after stints in different places in the US and abroad. She loves traveling, being outdoors (you will often find her hiking, biking, skiing, or foraging), and learning new things.
