On April 13 we reported that we had experience problems implementing the MOU of the School of Public Health. The language of paragraph 17 of the MOU on the Creation of the OHSU/PSU SPH was not able to implemented, and PSU-AAUP did not support any process where current employees would be subject to a background check to get an OHSU ID badge solely to have tram privileges.
We reached out to SPH members on Apr 17 to learn who had a need to travel to OHSU. You were one of the people to respond and affirm your need to travel to OHSU. The list of people who responded became those members who were approved by the Dean to get reimbursement as provided in Paragraph 17.
We executed an MOU today that creates a replacement for the language in Paragraph 17 and provides a reimbursement for members who traveled in AY 16-17 along with a procedure for stipends or reimbursement for future travel.
