The Executive Council has approved the following Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) for ratification:
Time-Period Extension of Phased Retirement Transition Program
Three MOAs extend the retirement incentive programs already in place for tenure-track faculty, non-tenure-track faculty, and academic professionals. The current programs expire in June 2024 for employees who had retirement transition agreements approved in June 2023. The MOAs extend each program for another two years while all other provisions remain the same.
Care.com Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
This MOA specifies that PSU’s subscription to Care.com, which was negotiated during the contract reopener and is provided in the new Article 33 on caregiver support, will be for two years. The subscription was intended to run for years 3 and 4 of the collective bargaining agreement, but a delay in getting it started means that it will not have run two years before the current CBA ends. The MOA provides for a two-year subscription irrespective of the end date of the CBA.
How do I vote?
The ratification ballot opens Wednesday October 4, 2023 at 8 am and will be open until Wednesday October 18, 2023 at 8 pm. We will be using the online voting system ElectionBuddy for email voting, and you will receive the invitation to vote once it is open, along with reminders until you vote.
