One of the great benefits of the PSU-AAUP contract is the Donated Sick Leave Bank (DSLB). All bargaining unit members are automatically enrolled in this bank; no need to sign up.
Thanks to this contract benefit, you can access up to 60 working days total, should you need to. This is especially helpful to newer employees and those who, for whatever reason, don’t have a lot of sick leave hours banked.
You can use the DSLB for any condition that qualifies under FMLA, OFLA, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or PSU’s standards around sick time.
