It is clear that one thing we don’t want to return to normal is the practice of coming to work while you are sick. To allow you to stay home when you are ill, Administration is extending COVID-19 leave to be in effect through December 31st. Moreover, 40 hours of COVID-19 leave will be added to a max of 80 hours (prorated for your FTE). This benefit is also being extended to new hires. An MOU on this is currently being crafted. Let’s make self-care, and keeping germs at home, the new normal.
